Bolens Husky 850

Difference designed features, 850 and 1050

forward and two reverse speeds. The 850 also features Bolens plugin attachment 
system. Attachments [35 are available] plug directly into a shaft-type PTO (power 
take-off); and power to implements is positive and constant, regardless of ground 
speed. The 850 also has controlled differential. On wet or loose ground, you can 
manually adjust a knob on the left rear wheel and get traction to pull out, freely 
and smoothly. More examples of difference designed, with performance in mind.

Bolens Husky 1050

Move up in versatile power and ground-working utility With a Husky 1050. This unit will power 35 different attachments with a rugged, dependable 10 hp engine. (With Bolens exclusive plug-in attachment system, changing from one power-driven attachment to another is a fast, simple operation.) You'll never worry about matching speed to the job, either. The 1050 has a high and low speed range, with three forward and one reverse apeeds in each range. Then there's controlled differential, which lets you manually adjust a knob on the left rear wheel to get the degree of traction needed to move out of wet or loose ground. More examples of difference designed, with performance in mind.

0NE PEDAL CLUTCH AND BREAK - Shift into gear, release foot pedal and move off with smooth, even power. Depress pedal part way for clutch, all the way for brake.

CONTROLLED DIFFERENTIAL - In soft, muddy ground or deep snow, simply reach over the side of your Bolens Husky and turn the control knob for the degree of extra traction needed. (See page 4 for f further description,)

FREE WHEELING - A pin located on the inside hub of right rear wheel can he locked in for drive, locked out for free wheeling. PLUG-IN ATTACHMENTS - Shaft from attachment plugs into PTO coupling. No bolts. See page 5 for further description.) PLATE CLUTCH DRIVE - Double-plate, automotive type clutch controls positive power drive from a engine to transmission. Easy to operate, yet rugged and dependable.

 

ALL-GEAR TRANSMISSION - Three speed transmission is built for heavy duty. Heat-treated spur gears provide extra lone life. Specially hobbed gears allow easy shifting.
