I grew up on a farm in Southeast Nebraska driving Farmalls and John Deeres. I first became aquainted with Allis-Chalmers garden tractors in 1991 when I moved to the country and needed a tractor for mowing and snow removal. I just happened accross a B- 112 and since it had a blade, I bought it. This tractor was manufactured in 1968, is all original and has been in continuous service for 31 years! I was so impressed with the quality of the 13-1121 that I have purchased 3 more of these rugged, durable little machines.

Simplicity made the original Allis-Chalmers garden tractors. AC bought Simplicity in 1965. Simplicity became independent again in 1985 with the demise of the Allis-Chalmers Corporation.
Simplicity and Allis- Chalmers garden tractors are identical except for the models made from 1968 to 1973, on which there are some differences, primarily sheet metal and steering gear. Simplicty design features are many, including deeper mower decks for a better cut (especially in tall grass), decks attached to the front axle for less scalping, and cast iron engine blocks and differentials for extra long life.
